Mr. Bridges is a member of Capital Legal Group where he brings his experience as a patent litigator
to assist clients in the monetization of their intellectual property portfolios. Mr. Bridges has represented clients of all sizes
including multi-national corporations, start-ups, and individual inventors in patent litigation, licensing, and prosecution. Through
his varied experience, Mr. Bridges has acquired the skills to analyze patents and their corresponding inventions and to help the owners of these
patents to extract the most value from their intellectual property.
Before joining Capital Legal Group, Mr. Bridges was an attorney at Heninger, Garrison, Davis LLC, where he was the lead litigator on multiple patent litigation matters. Mr. Bridges handled the full range of patent litigation, including courtroom advocacy, Markman hearings, depositions, settlement negotiations, mediation, and motion practice. Prior to that, Mr. Bridges was an associate at Fish & Richardson and Alston & Bird, where Mr. Bridges focused on representing corporate clients in defending patent infringement matters.
Mr. Bridges received his law degree in 2003 from Columbia Law School and a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Alabama in 1997
Prior to receiving his law degree, Mr. Bridges was a software developer at a major telecommunication company, where he did development in C, C++, and Java along with extensive experience in large database installations. Mr. Bridges is a member of the Georgia Bar Association, the State Bar of Georgia, and the Federal Circuit Bar Association. Mr. Bridges is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
